Nurture Your Health.

When you got sick as a kid, nothing was more comforting than your mom coming into your room, giving you a cup of chicken soup, and letting you sleep through the afternoon. The Sabbath gives us that same opportunity to rest and renew from a week of work--with or without a cup of chicken soup.

The Ten Principles

1. Avoid technology.

2. Connect with loved ones.

3. Nurture your health.

4. Get outside.

5. Avoid commerce.

6. Light candles.

7. Drink wine.

8. Eat bread.

9. Find silence.

10. Give back.
