The has passed a law saying that Haredi high schools can legally get funding without teaching the core curriculum, meaning that they will not be obliged to teach math, English and civics. Previously these schools, which do not teach non-religious subjects at all, had been getting the money in violation of the law. Whether this will survive the High Court is another matter. (Ha’aretz)
