In 2005, Oliver Levis and his wife Bonnie returned to the Vermont property where he grew up to start Earth Sky Time Community Farm. Today, the farm is a bustling operation that includes an organic bakery, live music venue, farm store, pottery studio, metal shop and four acres of organic vegetables — all run by Levis and an ever-shifting cast of friends, family and farm workers. The recent bar-mitzvah of Levis’ son Guv demonstrated the family’s creative approach to Jewish life, complete with original music, reimagined rituals and endless singing.
