From the Rivers of Babylon to the Ruins of Jerusalem

Hosted By: The Conservative Yeshiva

With the Temple destroyed and the people exiled – could there be a Jewish comeback from the Rivers of Babylon? We will look at the fascinating period of the early (and pre-) Second Temple period. A time of faith and hope, as well as despair and misery, reflected in the books of Ezra, Haggai, and Zechariah (also read as the Haftara for Hanukkah.)
