Tal Beery

He is co-founder and co-director of Arts and Ecology, a multidisciplinary institute committed to research, art, and education on radical environmental themes. Beeryā€™s personal and collaborative works have been exhibited in museums and galleries in the United States, Poland, and Germany. As a core member of Occupy Museums and a founding member of Debtfair, he has helped organize large-scale and more intimate interventions to call out economic and social injustices propagated by institutions of art and culture. He currently serves as core faculty at School of Apocalypse, a radical learning community that examines the connections between creative expansion and notions of survival. Beeryā€™s written work and interviews on art and social change have been published in numerous publications including Spike Art, Temporary Art Review, and Revolt.
