Rabbi Chasya Uriel Steinbauer

Rabbi Chasya Uriel Steinbauer is the Founder & Director of The Institute for Holiness: Kehilat Mussar, which is the only center worldwide that integrates the learning and practice of the Jewish, daily, spiritual discipline of Mussar & Mindfulness and Insight/Vipassana Meditation, both online and in-person. A master-teacher and sought-after speaker and scholar-in-residence, Rabbi Chasya is a leader in Jewish spirituality and the embodiment of Jewish-Buddhist practice and learning. Trained in the Scholars’ Circle at Drisha Institute, she is an observant Rabbi from Lithuanian-influenced Modern Orthodoxy, and is deeply devoted to her family: wife, Ahava, of 23 year years, and their two children, Hannah Devorah and Shaiya Ben Ami, ages 10 and 8.
