Disruptive Innovations in Jewish Music
Hosted By: Jewish Collaborative of Orange County
A journey through four crossroads in Jewish music in which musical innovation disrupted the theological and societal status quo. This subversive history will interrogate musical figures and forms that we take for granted, as we enter new territory for Jewish life and the arts in the 21st century. This class is taught by Cantor Matt Austerklein and is presented by the Jewish Collaborative of Orange County’s Advanced Learning Institute program in partnership with the Cantors Assembly and Ivrim Jews Without Borders.
