Echoes in Ink: A Liberation Day Reading of Short Stories From the Holocaust

Hosted By: The Museum of Jewish Heritage-- A Living Memorial to the Holocaust

In the aftermath of the Holocaust, many Jewish writers turned to pen and paper to reckon with the enormity of their loss. The stories they wrote—both fiction and nonfiction—bring to life the darkest moments of human history at the same time as they remind us of the human capacity for renewal and regeneration.

On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join The Museum of Jewish Heritage for a reading of two such short stories: “The Road of No Return” written by Rachel Häring Korn and read by Mili Avital and “A Wedding in Brownsville” written by Isaac Bashevis Singer and read by Eleanor Reissa. The program will premiere at 10 AM Eastern Time and be available all day.
