Sarah Schenirer rose from obscurity to become one of the most influential women in Jewish history. She successfully pioneered efforts to provide Jewish education for women, and her impact can be felt across the Jewish community to this day.

Join SVIVAH as they celebrate the life and legacy of Sarah Schenirer, pioneer of women’s Torah education, on her 87th yahrtzeit (anniversary of her passing)

This HerTorah features Leslie Ginsparg Klein + Talia Weisberg, scholars of Sarah Schenirer and the Bais Yaakov movement + Basya Schechter singing some of the original Bais Yaakov songs.
