Sephardic Recipes Across America: Sephardic Seattle

Hosted By: Temple Israel of Boston

Many people know about the flavors of the Sephardic diaspora throughout the Mediterranean, but what about here in the USA? Since even before the beginning of the United States there has been a strong Sephardic presence in this part of the world.

In this session, we’ll learn about the recipes and food traditions of the Sephardic community in the Pacific Northwest, with its deep roots in the Mediterranean and specifically the island of Rhodes.

This is part of a three-part online series. We’ll be exploring the delicacies of American Sephardim all over the continental states, learning the history and savoring along the way! This event is co-hosted by the Center for Adult Jewish Learning at Temple Israel of Boston and the Southern Alliance for Jewish Education (SAJE). Join one session, or all three! All are welcome.
