Celebration of Jewish Literacy

Westchester Jewish Council will launch its Jewish Literacy program on March 31st  at 7:30 pm at Young Israel of Scarsdale (as well as via Zoom), with a talk by Rabbi Meir Soloveichik on “The Best Passover and Seder Stories in American History.”

“The Jewish Literacy event on March 31st will be a wonderful opportunity for the Westchester Jewish community to come together– in person and virtually– to hear one of America’s foremost Jewish thinkers, as he shares some of his favorite Passover stories through the lens of American history– from revolutionary days to the present.  It will also be a kickoff event for a larger program the Council is planning for next Fall to provide a consortium of Jewish educational opportunities, which will be offered by our local rabbis.” – William H. Schrag, President of the Council.
