Lisa Barr is the award-win­ning author of Woman on Fire, The Unbreak­ables, and the his­tor­i­cal thriller Fugi­tive Col­ors, a sus­pense­ful tale of stolen art, love, lust, decep­tion, and revenge on the eve of World War II. The nov­el won the Inde­pen­dent Pub­lish­ers Book Award (IPPY) gold medal for ​“Best Lit­er­ary Fic­tion 2014” and first prize at the Hol­ly­wood Film Fes­ti­val (Opus Mag­num Dis­cov­ery Award). In addi­tion, Lisa has served as an edi­tor for The Jerusalem Post, man­ag­ing edi­tor of Today’s Chica­go Woman, man­ag­ing edi­tor of Moment mag­a­zine, and an editor/​reporter for the Chica­go Sun-Times. Among the high­lights of her career, Lisa cov­ered the famous ​“hand­shake” between the late Israeli prime min­is­ter Yitzhak Rabin, the late PLO leader Yass­er Arafat, and Pres­i­dent Bill Clin­ton at the White House. Lisa has been fea­tured on Good Morn­ing Amer­i­ca, TODAY, Fox & Friends, and the Aus­tralian morn­ing news show Sun­rise for her work as an author, jour­nal­ist, and blog­ger. She lives in the Chica­go area with her hus­band and three daugh­ters (aka Dra­ma Central).

James McAuley is a Wash­ing­ton Post Glob­al Opin­ions con­tribut­ing colum­nist focus­ing on French and Euro­pean pol­i­tics and cul­ture, and a for­mer Paris cor­re­spon­dent. He is also a con­trib­u­tor to the New York Review of Books. He holds a PhD in French his­to­ry from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Oxford, where he was a Mar­shall Schol­ar. His book The House of Frag­ile Things has received crit­i­cal acclaim from the Wall Street Jour­nal, Art News­pa­per, Econ­o­mist, New York­er, Finan­cial Times, New York Review of Books, Guardian, and Nation.

Stephanie But­nick is deputy edi­tor of Tablet Mag­a­zine and a host of the Unortho­dox pod­cast. She is the author, along with her co-hosts, of The Newish Jew­ish Ency­clo­pe­dia: From Abra­ham to Zabar’s and Every­thing in Between. She has writ­ten for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
