Choosing Again at Sinai: Tikkun Leil Shavuot

Hosted By: Congregation Kol Ami

Join Rabbi Eger and Rabbi Levy for an evening of learning and sharing as we we welcome in the holiday of Shavuot. We’ll bring in the holiday with Havdalah and a festival kiddush and enjoy some text study and learning with the rabbis. Since Shavuot is a rededication to Torah and Jewish tradition, we’ll also have the opportunity to learn from people who have chosen Judaism in our community over the past year. They all have amazing stories to tell so you will not want to miss it! In keeping with the tradition of Shavuot being a “dairy” holiday, we’ll have a dessert reception outside following the conclusion of our program.

The Limits Of Spirituality

Nadav and Avihu died in an act of sanctification; our goal should be to sanctify God through our lives, not our deaths.
