Law of the Land: The Supreme Court Year in Review

Hosted By: 92nd Street Y

The inner workings of the Supreme Court are mysterious and not easily understood, yet they have broad social impact and provoke public debate — especially this Term, with abortion and gun rights among the important decisions on the docket. Law of the Land breaks it all down in a comprehensive and entertaining way, taking the audience inside the Court’s major rulings of the year and their bearing on past and future cases.

Thane Rosenbaum will host a diverse panel of experts — CNN’s Supreme Court Reporter, Ariane De Vogue; senior legal correspondent at Slate, Mark Stern; Dean William Treanor, Georgetown Law School; and Constitutional Law Professor at Touro Law Center, Tiffany Graham, in what promises to be a lively discussion on a contentious year.

CLE CREDIT for this event has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for attorneys to earn 1.5 in the Area of Professional Practice transitional and non-transitional credits. Fees are $50 for attorneys. Register for CLE Credit.
