Israel’s Reproductive Rights in the Context of a Post-Roe World
With the recent SCOTUS decision overturning Roe vs. Wade, reproductive rights are at the forefront of political and legal discussions in the United States. While this topic has been debated for decades in America, the conversations in the Jewish context have been going on for centuries. The State of Israel’s take on this issue differs greatly from the American perspective but is no less controversial. To explore this important issue, we’ve invited Dina Shalev, Director of Lada’at (Choose Well) to share her expertise with us. Lada’at is a Jerusalem based organization dedicated to promoting the reproductive health and rights of women and girls in Israel by addressing the root causes that result in a lack of reproductive health services and infringement on reproductive rights. We hope you are able to join us for this timely program.
