Join My Jewish Learning for a live virtual walking tour of Venice, Italy, weather permitting. Together, we will explore the Jewish neighborhoods of 16th century Venice, in the place where the word “ghetto” originates. With our guide, Luisella, whose family has been in Venice since the 1700s, we will learn where the gates used to be; see the synagogue exteriors; and visit a Holocaust memorial in memory of Venetian Jews.
