The Legacy of Janusz Korczak Through the Lives of Leon Gluzman and Children Today in Israel
Join virtually at 1pm on September 11 for an afternoon of discovery. We will learn of the impact Janusz Korczak had on Leon Gluzman’s young life in Poland as Korczak’s pupil and ward in “his” orphanage until Leon came to Ottawa, Canada in 1930.
We will also learn of ways that Korczak’s philosophy continues to be used in Israeli schools today. We will also learn of ways that Korczak’s philosophy continues to be used in Israeli school today using the example of Einat Hagalil Elementary School.
