Jewish Krakow, Part Two: Krakow Jews in WWII

Hosted By: Baltimore Zionist District

Join the BZD on a poignant journey with tour guide, Olga, as she unravels the harrowing tale of Kraków’s Jewish community during the tumultuous period of World War II. By the close of the 1930s, the vibrant Jewish population in Kraków comprised a significant 25% of the city’s residents. Much like their neighbors, Jewish Cracovians held aspirations, dreams, and plans for the future, only to see them shattered by the ravages of war and occupation.
