Join My Jewish Learning educator and author Rahel Musleah for a Tu Bishvat seder ripe with contemporary values and ancient traditions, inspired by her Baghdadi-Indian heritage and customs from other Jewish communities. Come together to enjoy fruit, Jewish learning, and sweetness during the new year for the trees. A list of items for the seder will be sent out to you before the event so you can fully participate in this ritual.
In 2025, Tu Bishvat begins at sundown on Wednesday, Feb. 12 and ends at sundown on Thursday, Feb. 13.
In 2024, the "birthday of the trees" begins at sundown on Wednesday, Jan. 24 and ends at sundown on Thursday, Jan. 25.
