The Economics of Aging
Hosted By: Melton
Statistics indicate that many of us are one medical crisis away from financial devastation. The American health system is at the heart of this concern; making sure adults have equal access to health care is probably the most significant social issue the Baby Boomer generation is facing. What can Jewish ethics and thought contribute to this subject? Can our tradition provide any guidance? In this discussion, Rabbi Richard Address, founder and director of Jewish Sacred Aging, will look at a series of approaches from across denominational lines to see how Jewish scholars approach this pressing social issue.
