Covenant & Continuity — Sefer Shemot, the Book of Exodus

Hosted by LSJSls, this educational series invites participants from around the world to engage with the thoughts of Rabbi Sacks on the weekly parasha. The series will particularly focus on Rabbi Sacks’ interpretation of the Exodus story, as he described it: “The Exodus story is the universal story of what happens when men and women are touched by the call of God, to relinquish their fetters and have the courage to begin traveling the long road to freedom” (Rabbi Sacks, Covenant and Conversation: Exodus). Educators inspired by Rabbi Sacks will develop his teachings on the Book of Exodus, share ideas of relevance and hope, and, in turn, inspire us to hear the call of God today.
