The Political is Personal with Letty Cottin Pogrebin and Sarah Breger
Hosted By: Moment Magazine
In her recent essay, “Right Now, the Political is Personal,” in Moment Magazine, columnist Letty Cottin Pogrebin, founding editor of Ms. Magazine and a leader in many social justice causes, laments over the Israel-Hamas war and the loss of life on both sides. Reflecting on the 1970s feminist slogan “The Personal Is Political,” Pogrebin thinks that many Jews like her now feel that “The Political is Personal.” Pogrebin will discuss what people can do to channel their feelings of despair, guilt, and anger and regain a sense of hope. In conversation with Moment Editor Sarah Breger.
