Living Next to Gaza: The Legacy of October 7th Victim Yahav Winner

Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning

In May 2023, Yahav Winner released “The Boy,” a short film depicting the life of an Israeli father and son near the Gaza Strip amid looming war, reflecting his personal experiences and perspectives. Tragically, this film became Winner’s final work, as he was killed in the attacks on October 7th. A special screening of the film will be followed by an exclusive talkback with Winner’s widow and artistic collaborator, Shaylee Atary.
