The Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies at Columbia University will conclude its Summer Film Series with “Checkout,” an Israeli comedy directed and co-written by Jonathan Dekel. The event will feature a virtual Q&A with the filmmaker and IIJS Film Programmer Stuart Weinstock. The film follows Dov, an aging Mossad operative, as he mistakenly identifies an Arabic-speaking traveler as a notorious terrorist.
