‘Jewish Voices of Humanity’ 2-Part Zoom Talk

Evgenia Kempinski will present a miniseries on two influential Jewish individuals. On Sunday, July 28, Part 1, “Maria Rolnikaite: A Jewish Girl Who Survived the Vilna Ghetto,” will explore Rolnikaite’s documentation of her life during the Nazi occupation and her postwar efforts to publish her diary and speak out against Nazi atrocities. On Sunday, August 4, Part 2, “Janusz Korczak: A Man Who Taught Us to Love Children,” will explore Korczak’s life as a pioneering educator, advocate for children’s rights, and author, as well as his dedication to the Jewish orphanage in Warsaw during WWII.
