The Basics of Scroll Maintenance and Repair

Hosted by My Jewish Learning, this workshop covers basic Torah scroll maintenance, including how to identify when a scroll is pasul (unfit for ritual use) and assess its readiness for services. The session is open to synagogue clergy, staff, lay leaders, and anyone interested in Torah care. Note: For professional services before the High Holidays, it’s advised to contact a sofer or scribe ahead of the class.
