Anita Norich in Conversation with Lisa Newman

Hosted By: Yiddish Book Center (Amherst, MA)

Join Anita Norich at the Yiddish Book Center for a discussion on her newly released translation of Celia Dropkin’s Desires (White Goat Press). In Desires, Dropkin explores the complexities of love, eroticism, and domesticity, drawing from her own immigrant experience to depict the tensions between excitement and security, and the yearnings of both body and mind. Norich will be in conversation with Lisa Newman, the Yiddish Book Center’s Director of Publishing and Public Programs, followed by a Q&A and book signing.
