Modern Jewish Literature

The London School of Jewish Studies will host a class celebrating contemporary Jewish culture through a range of international Jewish writing, including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The class provides an introduction to modern Jewish literature and offers an opportunity for book lovers to discuss how Jews and Jewishness are portrayed globally. This term will include poems reflecting on the High Holy Days, essays commemorating the events of October 7, and works from European, Canadian, and Israeli authors.
