A Humorous History of the Jews

Hosted By: My Jewish Learning

with Emmy winner Rob Kutner!

Just in time for Purim, an Emmy-winning writer has given us a humorous survey of Jewish history — from Adam and Eve to Zabar’s.

Sign up to join us on Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. ET for a conversation with Rob Kutner, who has written for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and “The Tonight Show,” among others. He’ll talk us through his new book, “The Jews: 5,000 Years and Counting,” and discuss how one tackles writing about just about every major moment in Jewish history, from the beginning of the universe to Tuesday’s rerun of “Seinfeld.”

It’s all accessible for those with even the most basic level of Jewish knowledge — and if you’re Jewish, it will unquestionably give you something to kvetch about.

Kutner will be in conversation with Andrew Silow-Carroll, a Jewish humor expert and editor at large at 70 Faces Media.
