I just wanted to bring attention to a really cool, new article that is now up on on MJL.

No longer just a trend, the idea of Ethical Kashrut, really thinking about what you eat and where it comes from, is hitting the mainstream. The more people think about fair trade/local/organic food, the more people want to make sure their kashrut standards stay compatible with their ethical standards.

But where to begin? Isn’t keeping kosher ethical enough? Ehhh…Probably not. But you can make your own decisions by reading Shmuly Yanklowitz’s new article.

Shabbat Shalom.
