Poll: Birthright Attendance

A couple nights ago, riding on the subway, I overheard a conversation between a guy and a girl near me (I’m also regularly given dirty looks for trying to read the book/e-mail of the person sitting next to me. I can’t help it! I’m a curious kid!). I’m pretty sure they had met each other on the train because they were playing the ever-so-popular game of Jewish geography.

At one point, the girl brought the subject of Birthright up, asking the guy if he had ever been. Almost surprised by the question, the guy responded with an affirmative yes. I say surprised because his response made it sound like it was a given that he had. “Do I look Jewish? Then obviously I’ve been on Birthright!”

But then again, I’m as Jewish looking as they come (though I hide my Jew-fro by buzzing my hair…I also do it to look hot) and I never went on Birthright.

So today’s random poll just because I’m wondering:
