Ari Y Kelman
Ari Y. Kelman is an Assistant Professor of American Studies at UC Davis. With Steven M. Cohen, he is the co-author of two recent studies on contemporary Jewish culture. He was also the primary researcher on a project about synagogue transformation in America, and is collaborating on a book analyzing the findings. He has written, spoken and taught widely about Jewish culture in America, and is the author of "Station Identification: A Cultural History of Yiddish Radio in America" (forthcoming: University of California Press).
