Aurora Mendelsohn lives in Toronto, Canada with her husband and their three children and works in medical research. She has written about Jewish ritual and liturgy, feminism and parenting for the past decade (in the Forward, Sh'ma Magazine and Lilith) and blogs at RainbowTallitBaby. She has created ritual material for baby namings and Passover. She served on the board of the Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day school.
