Rabbi Benay Lappe
Rabbi Benay Lappe is the founder and rosh yeshiva of SVARA, a traditionally radical yeshiva dedicated to the serious study of Talmud through the lens of queer experiences. Ordained by The Jewish Theological Seminary in 1997, Rabbi Lappe also currently serves as senior fellow at the Institute for the Next Jewish Future in Chicago, and is a frequent guest on the Judaism Unbound podcast.
