Chuck Davidson
Chuck Davidson is an ordained Orthodox rabbi and activist in Jewish conversion and other issues relating to religion and state in Israel and beyond. He is among the founders (http://www.jpost.com/Magazine/Rethinking-conversion-467242) of Giyur KeHalakha, a network of independent Orthodox conversion courts in Israel which operate independently of Israel's Chief Rabbinate. He also officiates (http://www.timesofisrael.com/will-orthodox-israelis-revolt-against-the-chief-rabbinate-spur-a-domino-effect/) weddings outside of the auspices of the Chief Rabbinate and is poised to expand this activity with a number of additional Orthodox rabbis.
