Malka Z. Simkovich
Malka Z. Simkovich is a visiting instructor of Jewish Studies at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago and is completing a doctoral degree at Brandeis University in Second Temple Judaism. She earned an M.A. degree in Hebrew Bible from Harvard University and a B.A. in Bible Studies and Music Theory from Stern College of Yeshiva University. Her research focuses on universalist Jewish literature that emerged from Egypt under the Roman empire. Malka has written for TheTorah.com and works as an editorial assistant for the Harvard Theological Review. She lives in Skokie, Illinois with her husband Aaron and three children.
