Marcy Gorman

Marcy Gorman grew up in Huntington, Long Island and attended college in upstate NY. She met her husband of 20 years working in the fitness industry in NYC. We have two beautiful children ages 17 and 14. Marcy has been working in the school system for 11 years. She went to school for exercise physiology/education and then worked in the fitness industry for 17 years. Due to her husband's job, she moved to Florida where she began my journey with teaching. Marcy taught at a public elementary school in Weston, Florida for 4 years. Upon her return to the Tri-State area, she began her search for a teaching job. Having a sister-in-law in a Jewish Day school, she added private schools to her search and upon walking into GOA for an interview, she knew that this could be her second home.
