Mark S. Young
Mark S. Young loves camp and misses camp. At present, Mark serves as Director of Alumni Engagement and teaches Experiential Education at the The Davidson School of JTS, training and nurturing future and current Jewish educational leaders, including Jewish Camp Directors. Mark spent 14 glorious summers at the JCC of Cleveland, Ohio’s Camp Wise – including multiple years as song leader, Judaic director, and staff in training director. Mark is also wrapping up six years serving on the board of Pinemere Camp Association, of which his father-in-law, wife, and sister-in-law are alumni. The past two summers, Mark has spent a week enjoying URJ Crane Lake and Eisner Camps in the Berkshires, where his wife has served on Crane Lake faculty and toddler attends Eisner Day Camp. Mark received a BSc in Psychology and Economics from McGill University and a MPA and MA in Non-profit Management and Judaic Studies from NYU. Mark, his wife Rabbi Mara Young, and two year old daughter Noah Sadie live in Hartsdale, NY.
