Reyna was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States in 1995 to pursue her degree in Interior Design. She began to take classes at UCLA and found her bashert (destined life-partner), Sammy, when he was her customer at Taco Bell on campus! They now live in Boston with their five sons. Reyna writes the blog http://www.kosherpersianfoodblog.com and her first cookbook is Kosher Food from the Non-Persian Bride.
