ALEPH/BET: Introduction to Judaism

Hosted By: The Lab Shul

Join Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie for ALEF/BET, an introduction to Judaism for adults, providing a framework for exploration of meaningful Jewishness in the 21st Century.
Alef/Bet is online and open for all seekers of a deeper connection to Jewish life – no prior knowledge required.

We will explore Judaism’s core concepts, ethical values, rituals, spiritual practices, history, literature, and life-cycle and calendar events, making meaning relevant to our contemporary needs and realities. Each session will focus on one key concept, discussed through interactive teaching, multiple historical voices, study of classical texts, encounters with guest speakers, shared dining and rituals.
