Beth Israel Presents Elul Master Series: In Residence with Neshama Carlebach

Hosted By: Congregation Beth Israel of San Diego

Each year, the ascent through Elul does its magic – affording us time and space for intentional focus to shake old bitterness from our hands and hearts. During the month which precedes our Days of Awe, we itemize the ways in which we want to change and teshuvah (turning/repentance). Every year the work is different because we are different. We bring this year’s version of ourselves to the work at hand.

This year, as we try to make sense of a new normal, we are providing a rich series to help focus our intention as we prepare to enter 5782. We are blessed to have Neshama Carlebach in [virtual] residence with us to facilitate this unique journey. Each session, Neshama will be joined by one of our clergy, as each session will build upon the next, as they will all offer rich texts, inspiring and soulful music, and thoughtful perspectives.
