Confronting Evil: Lessons from Biblical and Modern Times

Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning

Melton will examine the biblical story of Amalek, a lasting symbol of moral evil. The discussion will explore the paradox of remembering and erasing Amalek’s legacy, as commanded in Deuteronomy 25. This two-part class will also consider how these themes relate to confronting cruelty and injustice today.
