Evening of Gratitude: The Value of Jewish Mindfulness

Hosted By: Institute for Jewish Spirituality

Writers Rodger Kamenetz, Rabbi Dr. Jay Michaelson, and Jane Eisner will reflect on the three decades since the publication of Rodger Kamenetz’s seminal book, “The Jew in the Lotus,” how the Institute for Jewish Spirituality has grown and changed in this time, and the role of Jewish mindfulness in the world today. The evening includes spiritual practice with Rebecca Schisler, a musical performance by Rabbi Deborah Sacks Mintz, and opportunities the IJS community to share the people and things for which they are grateful.
