Fantastic Rabbinic Tales

Hosted By: Haberman Institute

The Haberman Institute for Jewish Studies will host a short series exploring three famous rabbinic narratives from the Talmud and Midrash. The sessions will examine fantastical stories such as Moses confronting Death, the Magic Tzitzit, and Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai’s laser beam eyes. All texts will be presented in translation, with no prior knowledge of rabbinic literature required.
