Finding Light in the Darkness: Creative Rituals for Wintertime
Hosted By: Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan
Hanukkah and the winter season are filled with traditions like candle-lighting, warm-comforting foods, and singing. Using the principles of design thinking, this creative, interactive workshop will break down the core elements of winter symbols and rituals while discussing what we can learn from both the darkness and the light. Then we will design some personal traditions to help us meet our wintertime challenges. All participants will leave with a custom ritual to use right away or to share with loved ones. We will end the session with candle-lighting.
