Heroes of the Jewish Resistance

The Sousa Mendes Foundation will host a film-and-discussion program based on Paula Apsell’s new documentary, “Resistance – They Fought Back.” The film uses cutting-edge documentation techniques, including forensic archaeological investigation, to uncover a deeper story of Jewish resistance during the Holocaust. Attendees will meet the filmmaker and two interviewees, Dr. Steven Meed and Prof. Yoel Haari, with Dr. Jud Newborn moderating.
