Nazis in New York
Hosted By: The Museum of Jewish Heritage-- A Living Memorial to the Holocaust
This month marks the 85th anniversary of a 1939 pro-Nazi rally attended by 20,000 Americans at Madison Square Garden, featuring keynote speaker Fritz Kuhn, head of the German American Bund. The event includes screenings of “A Night at the Garden” and clips from “Nazi Town, USA: The Untold Story of Nazi Sympathizers on American Soil,” which detail the rally and the Bund’s activities in America. Following the screening, Marshall Curry, director of “A Night at the Garden,” will engage in a conversation with Peter Yost, producer of “Nazi Town, USA,” moderated by Daniel Lombroso, director of “White Noise.”
