Reinventing Black Jewish Relations: Learning from the Past and Embracing the New

Hosted By: Moment Magazine

Moment Magazine will host a conversation exploring the complexities of Black-Jewish relations in the 1960s and the lessons that may or may not apply today. The panel will feature scholars and civil rights strategists discussing the rise of the Black Power movement, the historic alliance between Jews and Blacks, and what can be done to forge closer bonds between the two communities in the present. The discussion will address how to build a new alliance for a very different time.
