Dr. Debórah Dwork will discuss her new book, Saints and Liars, which explores the lives of American aid workers who undertook rescue efforts abroad before the U.S. entered World War II. The conversation will examine the moral dilemmas they faced, the unpredictable factors that shaped their decisions, and the lasting impact of their actions. Arthur Berger, former Director of External Affairs and Communications at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, will interview Dr. Dwork.
