Using the narratives of Sefer Shmot (the Book of Exodus) as a backdrop, this course will explore some of the seminal social, economic and moral questions of our time including: ethical and political issues that arise from COVID-19; the contemporary rise of anxiety and depression; global warming and the environmental change; immigration and the plight of refugees, and much more.
